Amazon Browser Integration Team is looking for a smart and motivated web development engineer for our flagship 1ButtonApp product line. We are building browser-based app platforms that make Amazon products and services available on virtually all the web enabled devices and corresponding services for powering these app platforms. We are a fast growing multi-billion dollar revenue channel for Amazon. We own and maintain Amazon's official app in the Windows, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE and other tablet/browser app store
As a member of our team you will interact closely with product marketing and other partner teams You will be a part of the team that owns the look and feel of 1BA UI layout, Product Compare and Search Compare UI. You will create the right environment for customers to have an awesome experience using our 1ButtonApp product lines, you will help customers personalize the overall experience and derive value from our products. You will also provide customers with flawless & consistent experience across Browser, Mobile and other channels that they use.

Key Responsibilities:
· Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters
· Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application, and serve as a technical lead on small to midsize complex projects
· Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
· Work closely with the architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
· Builds software solutions where the problem is not well defined. Designs and defines the interaction between the other component pieces
· Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.

· 1-2 years web development technologies including HTML5, Javascript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques
· 1+ year experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (e.g. YUI, DOJO, JQuery, Prototype, etc.)
· Experience in at least one MVC pattern and JSP
