We are looking for a highly motivated experienced developer to join as a core member. The individual must be problem solver who takes pride in crafting their code. This spot on our team has an enormous potential to grow rapidly, where you would manage future teams of developers.
To start, your primary responsibility will be to lead the backend architecture and development of the platform, which hosts 100,000+ businesses and will service millions of consumers. Naturally at the moment, as a start-up you will be expected to step-in and help when and where required.
We think BIG and work with a full stack of large-scale web applications with its core developed on Rails. We don’t cut corners on the quality of code and only want to push quality code. We expect all developers to follow a test driven coding practice and follow our ‘Code of Ethics’, no pun intended.
You will be deeply involved in product roadmap planning, recommending technologies and solutions to achieve our goals. The impact of your work will directly reflect on our core service offering and will be used and seen by hundreds of thousand people in different countries.

What we are looking for:
You take pride in your work. Your code must reflect this and be clean, modular, readable and unit-tested
You must be autonomous and capable of handling a face-paced environment
You have great verbal and written communication skills
You’ve worked with MVC frameworks developing code for large scale production systems
You have mastered skills with Rails, JS, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, BootStrap, AJAX, JSON,
You have worked with Elastic Search and MongoDB
You are experienced with version control system, such as GIT
You are familiar working with Amazon AWS & S3
You have worked and are familiar with Sass, backbone.js require.js
You know how to work in Unix-like shell environment
You have experience working with RESTful APis
You work well in a small team setting, working and supporting each other
You are experienced in working an integrating with third-party APIs (Google Maps, G+, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
You are capable to architect and model ideas
You are willing and able to learn new technologies
* Bonus points if you have previous experience working at a start-up
