Job Description :
Job Description and Skill Set Required:
Candidates will be responsible for following:
-Analyse business requirements to develop functional and non-functional system requirements.
-Aide analysis and design activities based on SOA paradigm
-Responsible for the development and product integration using Java and web technologies
-Create supporting SDLC / technical documentation. E.g. Writes detailed design model in UML and written specification documentation
-Work as a member of the software development team, and coordinates with all team members to address customer requests Java/J2EE/DB application development
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate programming application activities.
-Write business applications computer software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions.
-Develop statements of problems, designs systems and programs, and writes programs in computer language for solution by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyses system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, outputrequirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
-Responsible for the development activities using Appian

Skil Set Required:
Candidates must have following skills:
-Ability to learn and implement java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Smooks and develop Webservice/RESTful services
-Should have experience in Web technologies like AJAX, JavaScript/JSON/JQuery, HTML/CSS,Java portlets
-Should have experience in Java framework, Eclipse, JUnit, Maven/Ant and SVN
-Should have experience in some cloud based Java development platforms like Google AppEngine, Heroku and on use of NoSQL Databases Java/J2EE/SQL applications development with Eclipse, JUnit, Maven/Ant
-Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications, identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues, and review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation.
-Strong problem solving and design skills.
-Willing to learn and work on new technologies.
