Qualifications :
Candidates should be qualified Graduation in any discipline.
1.Pandit : Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard in the regional language.
2.Pandit(Gorkha)for Gorkha Regts : Madhyama in Sanskrit OR Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard in the Nepali Language.
3.Granthi : Vidwan in Punjabi or equivalent standard in the regional language.
4.Maulvi : Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu or equivalent standard in the concerned regional language.
5.Maulvi (Shia)for Ladakh Scout : Shia Ladakhai Personnel with Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu or equivalent standard in the concerned regional language.
6.Padre : Must have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority.
7.Bodh Monk : Must have been ordained Monk/ Budhist Priest by the appropriate authority
Age Limit :
All Religious Teachers minimum age limit 27 years &
1.civilian Candidates – maximum age limit 34 years
2.Remustered candidates – 25-34 years as on first day of Recruitment Rally.
How to Apply :
Eligible candidates shall apply through online registration system by logging on Indian Army and should keep a scanned copy of their passport size colour photograph and their signature.Filled all other details of online Application registered on before 05/01/2015.
Selection Process :
The Selection of Candidates will be based on Cultural Acceptability, Medical Examination/Written Examination (Paper-I & II) & Physical Standard test carried out through all the HQ Recruiting Zones, IRO Delhi Cantt, Ladakh Scout Regt Centre Leh,JAKLI Regt Centre Srinagar and GRD Kunraghat
