25,000 Freshers Jobs | TCS expect to hire by 2015
Tata Consultancy Services, the largest player in the IT industry expects to create 25,000 jobs for freshers across India by the end of march 2015.
TCS has already hired 25,000+ freshers for the current fiscal year 2014.
TCS is the India's largest IT / Software company and Infosys is the second largest Software company.
Som Mittal, president of NASSCOM said that, the past few years have been tough for engineering graduates and post graduates as IT companies had cut their hiring due to rescission.
NASSCOM said, the IT sector will boost 15% for the next financial year. Indian IT companies are earning almost $110 billion dollars which is 7 lakh crores Indian Rupees.
Indian Universities and colleges are generating huge number of engineers every year. So there will not be any problem on the supply side but companies are much concerned about the skills of these engineers. Companies are expecting or preferring to recruit students with good technical skills, so that they can on board them directly into project by giving basic training, instead of spending months and years to train them.
