Job Details:

* To lead a team of Relationship Managers to achieve sales targets & build long term relationship with clients & banks branches

* Sales: Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in their work by one on one coaching in technical/ product knowledge & selling skills. Provide a role model to RMs by demonstrating such knowledge & skills.

* Build & maintain team motivation by providing support, recognizing good performances, arranging periodic team-building activities etc.

Performance Review: Carry out weekly sales review meetings with direct reports in order to review performance, disseminate company information, address common problems & individual concerns & rally the team to achieve goals.

* Conduct quarterly staff appraisals in line with Company procedure, to review each RMs performance against targets, establish future targets & identify training & development needs.

* Ensure regular weekly meetings as well as formal performance appraisals with ZSM to review own performance against budget & targets.

Target setting: Work with the Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) to establish realistic yet challenging annual budgets & targets for the sales team.

Relationship Management: Ensure that every bank manager within the area is visited at least once a month to discuss & quickly resolve performance issues to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, to ensure that relationships with the bank branch staff & the RMs are good and that the quality & number of leads produced are sufficient to achieve performance targets.

* Recruitment: Plan the recruitment activities necessary to develop & maintain necessary manpower levels. Ensure that the recruitment of RMs is as per the

Companys recruitment process. Carry out final selection activities personally where appropriate.

Licenses: Maintain own license to sell by carrying out ongoing personal development activities. Ensure that all RMs in the team achieve & maintain licensed status as appropriate.

Training & Development: Ensure an updated understanding of relevant legislative requirements, market developments, company policies, procedures, sales process & organization & disseminate the knowledge to the sales team.

* Identify development needs of RMs through the ongoing one on one meetings, team meetings & performance appraisals. In conjunction with the training team, arrange relevant technical, product & skills training.

* Encourage self development activities for RMs.
